  • We offer customized catering services for events large and small throughout the state of Maine. From in-home dinner parties to rehearsal dinners, welcome parties, weddings and more.

    Service styles include: custom styled food stations, raw bar oyster cart, passed appetizers, family-style, buffet and plated dinners. We will work with you and your planner to come up with the best service style to fit your budget, venue, vibe and menu.

    Jay and Danielle help with the planning process all the way through: from rentals assistance, to detailed logistics, to day-of operations, custom styled food stations and more. We love details!

    Our lovely day-of-staff of incredibly talented chefs and servers have worked in the Portland-area restaurant and hospitality scene for many years. We are VERY lucky to have such a solid and charming crew who dedicate so much of their heart and soul into making each of our events as perfect as possible.

  • Here at Miss Hamill’s we do not carry set menus, instead we work with you to create a totally unique and personal menu. If you have special family recipes, favorite dishes, or a theme you want on your big day - we are all about making that happen!

  • Getting started is simple. Reach out through our contact form and we will schedule a call. Jumping on an initial phone call is our way of getting to know each other and hearing your vision for your event. From there we will put together an initial menu proposal for you to consider and come back to us with notes, changes, questions, etc. After you are happy with everything we will send you the contract to secure your date.

  • Our speciality is hospitality - from day one we want you to feel like you are being taken care of throughout the journey of planning. We take care to make this experience as smooth, fun and personal as possible.

  • You can reach us anytime via our contact page or email. We aim to respond quickly—usually within one to two business days.

  • Because we customize our menus for each event, we don’t have a set pricing structure. We typically fall within the $125 - $225 range per guest for the food cost of the entire menu. Once we go through our initial phone call we will be able to break down all of the costs: food, staffing, taxes, etc. so you will know exactly what the total will be before you sign a contract.

  • We truly hope to have each of our clients feel like we’ve been a partner to them throughout the process of planning their event. We want it to feel special and personal and FUN! Trusting us to cook for you and your loved ones on an incredibly special day is something we are honored by and we will always strive to provide guidance, transparency and helpful information every step of the way.

  • Not yet - but we are going to be expanding into the wonderful world of bar service in 2027! We will be offering customized bar services that reflect your personal preferences, complement the food and elevate the overall experience.
